Research Activities
The UNESCO Chair at Sophia University focuses on the revision of the 1974 Recommendation concerning Education for International Understanding, Cooperation, and Peace and Education relating to Human Rights and Fundamental Freedoms. Through collaborative research with international partners with regional reach, we share excellent practices in education cultivated in different countries and learn from each other’s knowledge. The Chair promotes research activities that contribute to human dignity, peace, and sustainability. The research outcomes will be utilized in the development of practical international education programs and disseminated as policy recommendations and academic papers.
